Little Yawn bed linen for kids

I know you all love bed linen - this post about 18 Australian bed linen brands is one of my most popular ever! So I know you'll also love this new brand of bed linen for kids by local brand Little Yawn. Every piece is designed, hand printed and manufactured entirely in Melbourne on 100% certified organic cotton, free of toxins. Great for sensitive skin!

The first Little Yawn collection is inspired by the C.S. Lewis classic The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Spot the forest-dwelling unicorns, lions and beavers in this beautiful photo shoot styled by Paige Anderson and photographed by Eve Wilson.

Did you spot the coral/orange bed frame? Such a great change from white. The rag rugs look neutral but provide a spot of colour (and are super-practical under little feet). This room is a beautiful combination of old and new; modern bed linen with crocheted blanket, and the clean geometric lines of the cushions and pendant lamps with the vintage-style furniture.

I love the styling of the two Origami moth lamp shades by Studio Snowpuppe (try Paper Empire in Australia), with the rainbow honeycomb garland (try Poppies For Gracee for similar), and the crocheted toys from La De Dah Kids. The modern graphic look of the bed linen looks great with the worn-in white vintage-style wardrobe and stool and white-painted exposed brick wall.

Yes please to gold unicorns!

This little chap's room looks inviting and fresh thanks to the apple-green and monochrome bed linen and indoor plants. You probably spotted the Apple Papple poster by Fine Little Day too, which - along with the Pirum Parum pear poster - is a modern child's room classic (try Yellow Dandy, Habitots, or Dinosaur District in Australia). There's plenty here for little ones' imagination to run wild.

You can find these bed linen pieces and more in the Little Yawn online store. Read about more Australian-designed children's bed linen here on Bondville.
