Best mermaid party ideas

Mermaid birthday parties have been hugely popular in the past year, so I thought I would put together some ideas for you as inspiration for your own mermaid party planning:

Mermaid Cakes:

These mermaid cakes are the crowning glory of four mermaid parties featured here on Bondville:

1. Natalia's 5th mermaid party was held at a local park and organised at the last minute. I love the cake by Faye Cahill Designs, and the grown-up food.

2. Our mermaid party for our 6-year-old daughter was all about the tiered pearl-dotted cake, seashell chocolates, wobbly ocean-blue jelly, and the DIY purple lantern octopus.

3. Eden's 6th mermaid party with the amazing ruffle cake is by far one of the most popular parties of all time on Bondville. The decorations are amazing!

4. Tora's 5th Ariel mermaid party featured a colourful green, blue, purple and red colour scheme and everyone's favourite Disney mermaid princess.

Mermaid Invitations:

My favourite mermaid party invites are by kikki.K and come with a super-cute envelope. You can also find matching Under The Sea stickers to create other party stationery (cupcake toppers, thank-you cards, garlands etc). So cute:

Mermaid Food:

I love all these mermaid party food ideas. Jelly is perfect for an under the sea theme, and there are so many fun options for mermaid cupcakes:

Jelly: 1. 2. 3. | Popcorn: 4. | Drinks: 5. | Cupcakes: 6. 7. 8.

Mermaid Decorations:

Get crafty with blue crepe paper streamers, pearls, shells and under-water decorations:

Octopus: 1. | Streamers: 2. 3. 4. | Treasure chest: 4. | Glass ball: 6.

You can find all these ideas and more in the Mermaid birthday parties here on Bondville. Happy planning!
