Party: Mila's 7th Bush Birthday Party
Organised by: Mila's Mum Kate
Location: Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, St Ives, NSW
Theme: Excursion party
We all met at Mila's house where the kids headed off on an excursion to the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. I took five little passengers with me in my lovely borrowed Ford Territory Titanium (as part of the Kidspot Voices of 2013 program) - plenty of seating! We played 'Spotto' the whole way to the National Park - I've still got "JACARANDAAAAA!!!" ringing in my ears.
Craft: Back near the picnic shelter Ranger Dennis set up a clay craft activity for the kids to create their own bush creatures. They all loved it to bits.
Invitation: Made by Kate.
Decorations: Mint honeycomb ball, white tissue paper poms and red fan decorations, mint striped cups, pear IKEA napkins, and the beautiful bush of the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. We set up at the Dampiers Clearing Picnic Area which was reserved for the party. Mila was thrilled to see her party and name written on the entrance board to the National Park as we arrived!
