I've been obsessing over cockatoo lamps for a while - they are such a throwback to the heady design days of Florence Broadhurst, kitsch Australiana and Art Deco in Australia. I'm so thrilled to let you know that Aussie design favourite MOZI has released a gorgeous white sulphur crested cockatoo lamp in their Melbourne store with both white and black linen shades. And it's spectacular!!!The cockatoo lamps were made for MOZI by an artist in Wagga Wagga - slip cast, hand painted and then made from stoneware. You can spy a white lamp in the store window in the top image and see the lamp in more detail in the bottom image (the black and yellow shade is not available).
