The range changes from time-to-time, but you can find linen blankets, pillowcases, cushion covers, tablecloths, purses and pockets, and vintage paper garlands and mobiles when in stock. Pieces are created from reclaimed textiles like an irish damask linen hand cloth, antique french linen tea towel and pure linen mangle cloth and repurposed for modern use, retaining that gorgeous old-world look. Eco-friendly, stylish, and charming to boot.
You can find Old Yarns in the Old Yarns Etsy store online and at stockists in Brisbane - Coming Up Roses in Balmoral and du Monde in Paddington, QLD. Check out more information about the team at The Bowerbird Stories blog.

Oh, how beautiful! I love vintage linen and must confess that I'm very lucky to have a house full of it, living in France. I've inherited my mother-in-law's entire bottom drawer that nobody seems to want these days - teatowels, embroidered bolster pillows, heavy linen sheets... Love the mobiles/garlands!
ReplyDeleteDeb - are you trying to kill us with jealousy?
ReplyDeleteHmmm....Farmhouse Chic. Love it. Wish I had a farmhouse to have them in.
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautiful Steph. I have always thought there must be a good way to give new life to those lovely old doilies!
ReplyDeleteHi Alina - if you find a farmhouse to live in, can you send one to me too? We can dream.
ReplyDeleteShannon - an honour to have you visit! Glad you like Old Yarns.
