Wild Things Of Noosa. Selina creates hip, modern things for little ones. We stocked up on presents for our nieces in the US and got a little pressie for Sophie too.
You can find Wild Things Of Noosa in the online store and sells them on Etsy, Made It and La Toriana. You can read more about Selina's new products and crafts on her blog at Wild Things Of Noosa. And check out Wild Things Of Noosa at the upcoming Mathilda's Markets in Brisbane on 19th July, 2009.

Drool-worthy children's store My Messy Room (based in Summer Hill, NSW near my old 'hood), has just opened their online store. I have been eagerly awaiting this moment since we moved from Sydney, as this store manages to stock the coolest, quirkiest products and gorgeous brands you've never heard of (as well as some favourites that you have). Those gorgeous Japanese duds from Wasabi Kids? You can find them at My Messy Room. There's also a new blog that I'm sure will be compulsory reading for anyone who loves cool baby products. Welcome My Messy Room!

I was thrilled to discover today (via a link on Ohdeedoh.com) an online store based in Victoria selling fabulous French design ware. French Bazaar specialises in home decor, games and gadgets, cooking and eating products, things for your pet, environmental products and chalkboard stickers. I just love the Buddy throw for your couch and the Buddy beach towel (the "anti-loneliness" beach towel! pictured).

One of my favourite Bloggers Holly Becker at Decor8 is running a fun contest using the new range of Amy Butler Design fabrics (with a fab Amy Butler Design pack as prize). Entrants have created mood boards for a room using material swatches from the new fabric range Midwest Modern. You can find my little entry here. Some of the graphic designer and interior designer mood boards are incredible and worth checking out here.

Gorgeous homewares brand Mozi has just launched their own range of organic tea, packaged in the gorgeous designs that Mozi is so loved for. So far there are three flavours - Chamomile and Cinnamon, Moroccan Mint and English Breakfast. Each box brews 100 cups of tea. I think these would make excellent gifts, especially at the $16.95 price point. You can buy them from the Mozi website and I assume they will be making their way into gift stores soon.

After developing a devoted following for her beautiful child-like paintings, fabulous artist Marisa Haedike has expanded into writing and has just self-published her first children's book - Who Are You Going To Be Today Olive? I'm dying to get hold of one. The first run is a 26 page full color hard cover book including 22 illustrations. The RRP is $44.95 and can be purchased from Marisa's site Creative Thursday.

Baby shower gifts can sometimes be challenging to choose, especially if the child's gender is not known. A unique gift for an open-minded Mum To Be is a baltic amber teething necklace - a natural remedy for teething that is great for both baby boys and baby girls.

I adore Bholu. A truly fair-trade company with gorgeous design and quality materials. You see their signature swirl cushions in every interiors magazine, and they have recently launched stunning rugs. But did you know that they also have a very cool children's range? So simple, clean and quirky. The Bholu Bubalah range is designed from drawings by children aged 3-7 years who come from underpriviledged slum communities. The range includes bedding, swaddling blankets and fun quirky stuffed toys. I love the whole range.

Another great Aussie baby clothes designer that I discovered at the Bangalow Market is Tree Huggin' Bubs. The designers use only 100% organic cotton jersey for their designs which are handmade on the NSW North Coast. All products are in natural shades of cream, brown and green and many feature delicate lace detail. Beautiful products. You can order a range of clothes and accessories on their website.
