Australian Artist Spotlight: Yellow Monday

I'm really taken with the work of Sydney-based artist Linda Kruger, who creates beautiful artwork, prints and textiles under the banner yellow monday.

There is something quiet and introspective about her art that is very calming. I love the subdued palette and the liberal sprinkling of animals in Linda's illustrations. This print is aptly called Dog Love - can't you see the connection between these two besties?

Super-talented Linda has a background in printmaking, textile design and video production and is also an accomplished photographer.
