
Following in the boom of Persian/Middle Eastern and North African food and flavours in Australia, I'm seeing them start to appear in the US. Cousous has been popular for some time, and pomegrates have been hugely popular for the past 2 years. However, now you can buy preserved lemons at
Whole Foods, and at least 2 recipes in the latest
Cooking Light magazine call for pomegranate molasses. Next I'm expecting fiery harissa paste, dukkah and tagine-everything, that is widely available in Australia.
